“I felt like the woman with the issue of blood being told, ‘daughter, your faith has healed you!’ Praise God!!!”

“Just then Jesus turned around and looked at her and said, ‘My daughter, be encouraged. Your faith has healed you.’ And instantly she was healed!” Matthew 9:22 TPT
All throughout the Bible, we hear God our Father having many different names for the many ways He is for us. One of my favorites that I have called upon over the last 21 years of my mothering is Jehovah Rapha, “the LORD who heals” in Hebrew.
As a mom of three, I’ve prayed over my fair share of colds, tummy aches, scrapes and boo boos, and, over time, they have been healed. I’ve prayed for healing over family members, over friends and even strangers. In those times I’ve seen God show up, Jehovah Rapha.
I recall a big moment when I needed a miracle for myself. I was in our yard riding our 4-wheeler when I tried to turn and flipped it, hitting my head on the ground. When I opened my eyes, I realized the 4-wheeler was on my leg. The back of my leg was bruising from the tire spinning on it, my arm burned from it resting on the exhaust pipe and my head hurt, along with my pride. A couple of hours later, as I was resting on the couch, I could feel all the pain hitting at once. I couldn’t move my foot, I started seeing stars, felt lightheaded and my vision dimmed. I probably should’ve gone to the ER, but I can be stubborn sometimes, so I prayed!
I prayed, “God, I know You can heal me. My Family needs me and I don’t have time to be down. I need You to do the miraculous.”
Just then, my head started clearing! Thank you, Jesus! That next morning, I was able to move my foot and walk on it! Jehovah Rapha, my Healer, came through! I felt like the woman with the issue of blood being told, “Daughter, your faith has healed you!” Praise God!!!
But, I can also share times when my prayers and declarations of faith for healing have taken time. The key is to not doubt in your heart, but stand strong in faith (Matthew 21:21). He will move! As I wait for healing, I will continue to worship God for it in advance. I will continue to speak scripture over the areas that need healing. I will continue to thank Him for what He is about to do! Because He is the same God yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8) and His Words will not return void (Isaiah 55:11 AMP).
Action Steps:
What are you standing in faith and believing God for? What scriptures can you put with your prayers as you walk in faith for your healing?

Prayer: Father God, we ask in the name of Jesus, for everyone reading this that may be battling in some way in their lives, to please reveal Yourself to them, Jehovah Rapha, God our Healer. Meet them and pour out Your Holy Spirit to bring healing, comfort, peace and Your love. We thank You that You are for us! Amen.
